Our Team

Thrift Benefits was founded by Sue Harvison and Michael Hatfield in 2012. Mrs. Harvison and Mr. Hatfield are passionate about helping those in need and founded Thrift Benefits on the notion that all people should save money on everyday medical and lifestyle expenditures. A portion of all proceeds from every Thrift Benefit Plan purchased goes towards The Women’s Center in Fort Worth, Texas and Operation Once In A Lifetime.

Sue Harvison, Founder

Sue Harvison is the owner of Thrift Financial Marketing, an online Lead Generation company, Outreach Communications, a US based, woman owned, call center and Thrift Benefits, an online Health and Lifestyle benefits company. In addition, Mrs. Harvison plays an active role in several business investments where she offers leadership and consultation. She has served on many boards with leadership positions, is an accomplished fund developer and is instrumental in the review and approval of budgets, banking relations, debt arrangements and treasury management services.


Mrs. Harvison received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas Christian University and a Master of Science from The University of Texas at Arlington, both with an emphasis on social work.

  • Owner of Thrift Financial Marketing since September 2009, an online lead-generating and marketing company with clients all over the United States.
  • Owner of Outreach Communications a Fort Worth Based professional Customer Relationship Solutions and Management company. Outreach specializes in First Party Customer Care utilizing inbound and outbound telecommunication contact for marketing and profit recovery.
  • Founder and owner of Thrift Benefits since September 2011, an online Health and Lifestyle benefits company due to launch sales in 2012.
  • Investor in and advisor to CCRA Travel Solutions, an international travel consortium offering 30,000 domestic and foreign hotel properties to 25,000 travel agents and operating an inbound call center with nearly 100 seats
  • Part owner and Manager of 3 Bar Ranch, a West Texas 10,000 acre ranch and operational mining company
  • Reservation agent for American Airlines

Michael Hatfield, President

Mr. Hatfield is the President of Thrift Benefits. In addition to  Thrift Benefits, Mr. Hatfield serves as President of  Thrift Financial Marketing – a nationwide commercial loan brokerage and lead generation company based in Fort Worth, Texas. Mr. Hatfield has been in business management since 1995 and prior to Thrift Financial Marketing, he ran the Fort Worth area for Wells Fargo Financial from 1998-2001 where he was responsible for employee development, OPR design and achievement, loan origination, underwriting, and closing/funding of every loan program in the company portfolio.

Michael was a multiple award winner with Wells Fargo due to his insistence on customer service and profit oriented employee management.  Mr. Hatfield was responsible for loan quality, bad debt control, loan volume and profitability of 4 branches with over $100 million in receivables under management. Mr. Hatfield has  been instrumental in organizing and placing joint venture opportunities in various and diverse lines of interest all over the world.

In 2010, Michael teamed up with Thrift Financial Marketing to originate, fund, service and broker commercial loans across the country, as well as to manage various business ventures for the Harvison Family.

Mr. Hatfield worked with  Sue Harvison to develop Thrift Benefits in 2012 focused on helping people and companies save money on everything from prescription drugs, dental procedures, vision needs, nutritional supplements, fitness and training programs, legal and other medical and lifestyle needs.

Mr. Hatfield remains active in the Dallas and Fort Worth communities and is a proud supporter of The Women’s Center in Fort Worth, Texas and the Wounded Warrior Project and Operation Once in a Lifetime.


More About Michael Hatfield

Mr. Hatfield was a proud member of Texas A&M Football Team from 1988-1991.  Mr. Hatfield has been coaching soccer since 2004. Currently he coaches a girl’s competitive soccer team: The Mansfield Cyclones 2000 GST.  He enjoys being a principal in Goalpostandback.com/Top Level Athlete, an organization that trains kids of all ages in speed, agility, strength and conditioning with special emphasis on unlocking every young person’s “Inner-Champion” to instill confidence.  Mr. Hatfield has three beautiful children and is married to his college sweetheart.
